Sarah and Doug’s Engagement Shoot at Highcliffe Beach
As a Cotswolds wedding photographer, one of the best parts of my job is getting to know the couples I work with. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Sarah and Doug's engagement shoot at the picturesque Highcliffe Beach. This session not only allowed us to capture some stunning photos but also helped us build a connection ahead of their wedding in June 2024.
A Perfect Day at Highcliffe Beach
Highcliffe Beach offered a beautiful backdrop for Sarah and Doug’s engagement photos. The serene seaside setting, combined with the soft morning light, created the perfect environment for capturing their love. We walked along the shore, taking in the breathtaking views and creating memories that would be cherished forever.
Building a Connection
Engagement shoots are not just about the photos; they are also about building a relationship with the couple. Walking along the seaside, we had the chance to chat, laugh, and get to know each other better. This time together was invaluable, as it helped settle any nerves and ensured that we wouldn't be strangers on their wedding day.
Capturing the Magic
Sarah and Doug were naturals in front of the camera. Their love and connection shone through in every shot, making my job as a candid/documentary wedding photographer a true joy. The relaxed atmosphere and fun moments we shared led to some amazing photos that I am incredibly proud of. Just look at them!

Their engagement shoot has made me even more excited for their wedding in June 2024. Knowing that Sarah and Doug feel comfortable and at ease with me reassures me that we are set for a fantastic day. I can't wait to capture more beautiful moments and be a part of their special day.
